SRP $28.95 2.35:1(16:9) DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1 SONY

Set in the '30s, "KUNG FU HUSTLE" revolves around a crime gang, know as "The Axe Gang".  They wreak havoc wherever they go, but are unable to control a certain slum area, run by a hilarious but tough landlord and her husband.  When con artists move into their slum, claiming to be members to the "Axe Gang", things get crazier than has ever been seen in any previous "martial arts" film, and that's saying a lot.

SONY has preserved the film's original 2.35:1 aspect ratio, with 16:9 enhancement.  Colors are incredible, as is the detail, making this one of the best transfers of the year!

SONY has presented a very aggressive 5.1 mix.  From the opening scenes, it's obvious there are going to be incredible effects, and they never cease, adding to the film's creative environment. In addition to great panning effects, the music is impressive and well complimented.

Stephen Chow provides commentary with cast and it's engaging, although trying, as it requires a subtitle option.  A featurette, deleted scenes and more are included!
