While not being promoted as part of their "Platinum Series", "One Night Stand" offers enough extras to make DVD fans optimistic about what NEW LINE will do for their other future releases.  To begin with, an insightful audio commentary with director Mike Figgis is offered.  His description of  how and why the production went the way it did is extremely entertaining, and his love and knowledge of film is also impressive.  In addition, Figgis also composed the music which is offered on an isolated track.  The picture is exquisite in every frame with excellent fleshtones.   The Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is effective though not fully active other than for music passages.
