SRP $19.99 1.33:1 DOLBY DIGITAL 2.0 STEREO PARAMOUNT

PARAMOUNT has just released a compilation of select “SOUTH PARK”
episodes including the hilarious “PASSION OF THE CHRIST”.  The title
episode pushes the envelope even farther than in most “SOUTH PARK”
episodes. After seeing Gibson’s “PASSION OF THE CHRIST” film, Cartman
begins to taunt Kyle continuously for being Jewish.  After prodding
from Cartman, Kyle then sees the film, and succumbs to the
anti-semetic overtones, becoming a self-hating Jew in the process and
further pleasing Cartman.  Cartman begins a cult following/Gibson fan
club. At the same time, Stan and Kenny watch the film and hate it,
deciding to seek out Gibson in person to get a refund! Gibson is
presented as a total loon and it’s hilarious.

Two other episodes, “RED HOT CATHOLIC LOVE” and “CHRISTIAN HARD ROCK”
are featured. They’re both quite funny and inflammatory.

PARAMOUNT has included all three episodes in their correct 1.33:1
aspect ratio.  The image is sharp, featuring vibrant colors. However,
there is some minor artifacting.

PARAMOUNT has included a DOLBY DIGITAL 2.0 MIX.  While not an
aggressive mix by any standard, there are some effective moments and
there’s no distortion. Dialogue is always intelligible and free from
distortion.
