BUENA VISTA has released "THE PROPHECY: FORSAKEN". It's the best of the sequels, and writer/director Joel Soisson has crafted a film that's suspenseful with some original scares. Kari Wuhrer plays the woman safe-guarding the "Lexicon" a sacred manuscript that fallen angels will do anything to get, with the aim of achieving victory for the anti-christ. The direction, editing, production design, cinematography and locations combine in making a film with a modest budget look and feel big!
BUENA VISTA has preserved the film's 1.85:1 aspect ratio with 16:9 enhancement. Colors vary, alternating between vibrant and muted depending on the given scene. Contrast is adequate.
BUENA VISTA has provided a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix. While not overly aggressive, the surrounds are extremely effective when utilized. Most separation effects are focused towards the front soundstage. Bass is also utilized with great effect during key scenes.
BUENA VISTA has provided a great commentary with Soisson, the make-up effects designer, editor and production executive.
