Some of the more intellectual titles being released from Paramount, deserve their place in most collections. Their newest addition, “QUESTION OF GOD”, offers an intriguing look at the lives of author(Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe)C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud.
Dramatic recreations of seminal events in the lives of these two men are interspersed with a table discussion with various professors and the author of the book of the same name. It’s only for those seeking to become more enlightened about the two, and general audiences won’t be too interested. However, for those seeking education and enjoying philosophy, it’s fantastic!
PARAMOUNT has presented a fine image with 1.85:1 aspect ratio, “without” 16:9 enhancement. While it’s not up to the standards of many 16:9 enhanced images from the studio, it’s in generally good shape. There is an abundance of digital breakup and grain, but it’s never distracting enough to prevent this from being recommended.
While fidelity is limited in this 2.0 release, there’s no distortion and some minor surround involvement.
A discussion guide has been included.
