The plot, involving a beautiful girl's roommate believing he can win her over if he could just get the perfect kiss, is the kind of thing that MTV adult fare could learn from. It's really not bad, and the acting is better than most cable programs as well.   The cast is great, the transfer is spectacular(great contrast, great color values), the only thing fair about this is the stereo tracks(which appear non-existant)  The multi-angle option has been better served in other films.

Jenteal stars in "Dirty Little Secrets".  The convoluted plot deals with a doctor and his beautiful assistant experimenting with extreme psychotherapy.  The production values are impressive, and for the most part the transfer is fine, with good fleshtone consistency and color values.  There are some artifacts, and grain however.   The stereo sound is unremarkable.

Ron Jeremy plays the role of the host in this comical send-up of informercials.   Jordan St. james and others provide the sexually charged moments that permeate "most" of the film.  While it's often funny, we'd prefer less Jeremy and more girls.  The transfer is acceptable, but not as clean as many DaViD releases. The mono sound is fine.

According to VIVID press, both Nikki Tyler and Rocco Siffreddi claim their main reason for entering adult films was to be with each other.  Whether or not this is pure hype is for the viewer to judge, but what happens here, suggests they were serious.  Their driven sexual passion seems real and rough.  The multi-angle option works perfectly for this type of film.  The transfer is excellent without any distinguished flaws.   The stereo sound is fine.

Acclaimed as one of the best adult films of 1998, "Mobster's Wife" has received an excellent transfer from VIVID.  Director Paul Thomas has made a film that, while not transcending the genre, revitalizes it!!!  Lexus has never looked or acted better.  The supporting cast, including Vince Voyeur and other adult film names, do a fine job.  The transfer is great, without even a blemish, and posessing perfect contrast and color values.  The multi-angle option makes this great for repeated viewings.   

Dreams and mind control tend to be a running topic in adult films over the past few years.  At least "Mindshadows" is one of the better films dealing with this theme.  Extremely well shot, at times it evokes memories of Andrew Blake's work.   The transfer is generally sharp, although there's some grain and wear in a few brief scenes.  The sound is fine, though unremarkable.

Adult film star Dyanna Lauren directs "Manic Behavior" and she does a competent job. Although  Raylene stars as a tough chick whom can't seem to follow anyone's directions or respect authority, she seems to have taken advice from Lauren, as this is her best work. The film was shot on an obviously modest budget, but Lauren makes the most of it, and the transfer looks decent, although contrast is inconsistent.   The multi-angle option gets great usage here, and Ms. Lauren apparantly conceived of the best angles possible.

Director Stuart Canterbury provides an entertaining audio commentary to the dvd release, "Kaitlyn Goes to Rio".  As the title suggests, viewers follow Kaitlyn Ashley to Rio de Janeiro, and puts the spectacle of Carnival to shame with her wild libido. 
As stated, the commentary is quite engaging, but the quality of the transfer varies, at times sharp, at others, soft.
