BUENA VISTA has released "THE THREE AMIGOS: OUTRAGEOUS". This Latin-comedy tour origianlly starred George Lopez, Paul Rodriquez and Carlos Mencia. While Lopez and Rodriquez moved on to enjoy fame, Mencia hasn't gotten his due yet, and the tour featured here offers him a chance to win new fans. His material varies in laugh-worthiness from joke to joke, but he's arguably funnier than Lopez. He's also joined with comedians Pablo Francisco and Freddy Soto. While humor is individual, these three comedians, although offensive at times, offer some genuinely creative moments.
The concert footage is well handled, never leaving the viewer feeling cemented onstage.
BUENA VISTA has preserved the film's 1.85:1 aspect ratio with 16:9 enhancement. Colors are decent. Contrast is fine, although there is a fair share of grain at times.
BUENA VISTA has included a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix, which is surprising since there are no real discrete effects. The surround does kick in during a few moments to enhance atmosphere of a live audience.

– Miramax Home Entertainment presents THREE AMIGOS, the hilarious stand-up
comedy tour starring comedians
Carlos Mencia (“29 Palms” “Comic Relief VI”), Pablo Francisco (“Mad TV,” “Comedy Central”) and Freddy Soto (“Spanglish”), on DVD May 3. This
hysterical film follows “The Three Amigos” national comedy tour as it “kills” audiences from coast to coast with stand-up performances that are too
funny for TV. Satirizing family, everyday life and the Latino experience, the tour originally starred the now-famous comedians George Lopez, Paul
Rodriguez and Carlos Mencia. On this new tour, THREE AMIGOS keeps the laughs coming with uncensored comedy that is fresh and original
