Jason Biggs returns as, guess what??? A semi-loser with horrible luck and awkward in relationships. Wow, does he ever stretch! Kidding, but his poorly written character in "WEDDING DAZE" doesn't destroy the film, thanks to a spirited performance by his co-star, the lovely Isla Fisher, and some sporadic, side-splitting scenes.
Biggs plays a guy who's just lost his girlfriend to a tragic accident, and at the behest of a friend, asks a waitress he's just met to marry him. When she(Isla Fisher)responds with a "yes," the two work to get accustomed to one another and their respective, often hilarious families.
Unfortunately, because FOX only provided a screener copy(single layered, with watermark)it's not possible to give a fair, overall review of quality. However, even with limitations, the transfer(1.85:1) offered solid colors and decent contrast. Darker scenes lacked detail, but this may not be the case with final product.
The Dolby Digital 5.1 mix offered is a typical comedy soundtrack, largely center-channel focused, with ambient effects appearing sporadically. Rear speakers are most active when enhancing the score.
Two deleted scenes and an alternative opening scene are included.
